Site Specific Bunting Installations
If you would like to donate any of your old clothes, curtains or any scrap pieces of cloth to further the cause in fabulous recycled bunting then plesae do not hesitate to contact me. All donations are appriciated by all. All bunting is made from recycled material. |
'Alma' bunting (gold & burgandy), was made specifically for Antenna Studios for a 24 hour event of life bands & Dj's that they were putting on at The Alma pub in Crystal Palace. Fabric colours were chosen specifically for the venue & the battle of the Alma in the 1800s. 120 metres of 'Alma' bunting were hung to bring attention to the fabulous space in their beer garden & a festive feel to the day. 'Net Curtain' bunting was made as part of London Sustainability Weeks, (June 2007) specially for The Sun & Doves pub in Camberwell. Being as pubs seem to be becoming more & more like our living rooms with breakfast, lunch & dinner's being offered, film nights & hanging out with friends, I liked the idea of bringing the domesticity of home/net curtains into a public sphere. |
